Registration and Fees

  • Participants may register starting from April, 2023

  • Participants can select more than one workshop, and there will be also the possibility to attend the workshop(s) only, without attending the GeoVet Conference

  • Participants who are interested in also attending the GeoVet Conference can get information here

  • Participants can refer to the instructions for payment of the fees, which are available here

  • Student participants are required to provide recent proof of university registration. Please upload a copy while registering

Workshop/s registration fee includes:

  • Participation in the workshop/s, attendance certificate, coffee breaks and lunches, and shuttle service from Teramo downtown to the venue and vice versa

Workshop Cancellation Policy

In case a workshop is cancelled from the Organization:

  • Participants who are registered in cancelled workshops will have the option to transfer to another workshop

  • Participants who paid registration to attend the GeoVet Conference and decline to transfer to another workshop will be fully reimbursed for the amount paid to register in the workshop

  • Participants who are not attending the GeoVet Conference and decline to transfer to another workshop will be fully reimbursed the amount paid to register in the workshop

In case a participant decide to cancel from a workshop:

  • Cancellation is possible sending an email to geovet23@izs.it, subject line “Workshop CANCELLATION”

  • The last day to cancel a registration and be fully reimbursed is July 15, 2023. Participants who cancel between July 16 – August 15, 2023, will be reimbursed 50% of the registration fee

  • Participants who cancel after August 15, 2023, will not be reimbursed

Please remember that cancelling your workshop/s registration does not automatically cancel your conference participation, your hotel and travel arrangements.

Workshops Venue

The Workshops will be hosted at the International Centre for Veterinary Training and Information (CIFIV) of the IZS-Teramo. The training centre has three fully equipped meeting rooms and a Conference Venue for up to 70 participants. All the training areas are comfortable, and well refined, with the latest technologies available and wifi connection.

A shuttle service will be organized from Teramo downtown to the venue and vice versa.
The shuttle service will run at specific times and frequencies, which will be communicated to participants in advance.

Accommodation

The Park Hotel Sporting, which is one of the most central hotels in Teramo, will apply special rates to the GeoVet workshop participants, as follows:

  • Standard Single room – B&B (€ 66/night – VAT included);

  • Superior Single room – B&B (€ 79/night – VAT included);

  • Standard Double room for single use – B&B (€ 92/night – VAT included);

  • Standard Double – B&B (€ 105/night – VAT included).

Please inform the hotel while booking that you are a “GeoVet 2023 workshop participant” for discounted rates.

Travel

The closest airport to reach Teramo is located in Pescara www.abruzzoairport.com. From Pescara, you can take trains www.trenitalia.com or buses tua.mycicero.it to reach Teramo.
The major airports near Teramo are in Rome (Fiumicino or Ciampino). From these airports you can take the Gaspari Bus www.gasparionline.it, which daily (and with multiple runs) connects the two airports with Teramo downtown. The same bus departs from the bus terminal at Fiumicino airport also making stops at Ciampino airport.

July 9th, July 25th 2023 Last day for workshop organizers to confirm/cancel workshops. Registration will remain open for confirmed workshops until the maximum number of participants is reached
